About VibeCon Africa
VibeCon Africa is the continent's premier AI Automation & Vibe Coding summit — a travelling, in-person event that teaches founders, developers, students, and business owners how to build real software products using AI-assisted tools like Cursor, Lovable, and Base44, and how to automate everyday business operations with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, n8n, Zapier, and Make. Rather than importing a Western tech conference format, VibeCon is built from the ground up around African context: agriculture, fintech, logistics, health, and education use cases that reflect the problems our builders actually face.
The event is for anyone curious about using AI to build or automate, regardless of technical background. Complete beginners, seasoned developers, non-technical founders, students, and small business owners all attend the same day-long summit, working through hands-on workshops, a live build competition, and a demo day where teams ship a working product before the event ends. The goal is simple: every attendee leaves with something real, not just slides and ideas.
VibeCon Africa is organized by a team of African founders, engineers, and community builders who have themselves used vibe coding and AI automation to launch products and grow businesses across Nigeria and beyond. Working alongside partners like Base44, ABI Platform, and a growing network of African tech hubs and communities, the team is committed to making VibeCon a recurring, pan-African institution — starting in Enugu in June 2026, and expanding to Lagos, Abuja, Accra, Nairobi, Kigali, Johannesburg, and Dakar in the years that follow.
